like this invitation suite for my dear friend Natalie & her fiance Ryan.
Natalie hand-delivered the finished product today to our apartment, and it was like seeing it brand-new! she also dropped off some tasty baked goods. Kyle loved that part
yummy treats. and pretty invites. happy girl.
remember this post? Sarah illustrated this gorgeous flower for the suite, and it was a blast collaborating with one of my best friends. I think she did a great job, don’t you? and a huge thanks to Natalie for asking me to work on this for her–such a fun project! Definitely reminded me why I love designing wedding invitations
ok, enough chatting. I’ll let you enjoy the pics!
can we talk about her pretty pic?! I love it! it matches the invite feel so well, and is just lovely.
Sarah's gorgeous sketch. love it! she sketched the flower and I colored it.
the sealing card. I love the rendering version of the flower here, and the sketch on the invite.
the back of the invite.
A huge congrats to Natalie & Ryan! Lots of love!
this summer, I had the best of both worlds:
DESIGNER & bride!
I loved being able to design with myself as the client, and for a wedding, nonetheless!
It went so far that for my last of four bridal showers (hopefully some pictures to come soon!), I designed my own bridal shower invitations.
and I totally loved it!
Big thanks to my best friend Courtney for throwing me such a fun bridal shower, and letting me be a control-freak and design for my own shower
|we designed it postcard-style, which made the mailing & printing process so much easier.
as promised, Aldous’s first family Christmas card,
with our first Christmas picture
(which I am planning on continuing only forever)
shout-out to the husband for cutting these for me
and overall, putting up with my paper-designing-insanity. love him.
and love the cards, right?
