a weekend with the Millards.

On 10, Oct 2011 | No Comments | In Uncategorized | By lela

we’ve now spent two weekends with the Millards (aka Kourtney & Jake) and it’s been a blast! we headed down to Mesquite and Las Vegas for the first weekend, and took zero pictures. sad.

last weekend we headed down to stay at the ranch above Zion, Ponderosa Ranch. so relaxing and so fun! I’m doing some major design projects with Kourtney, including an awesome Rustic Glam styled photoshoot (more on that to come!) and Kyle is helping with marketing and all things web/social media. Between the two of us, we may end up in Southern Utah many more weekends! We’re having a blast, and it’s way fun working together as a married couple :)

delish tomato, mozzarella & basil salad.

getting ready for dinner!

such a yummy dinner! coconut rice, steak and caprese salad.

taking a sunset jeep tour!

Jake being our guide!

such a fun weekend! thanks Millards! :)

margherita pizza, aka some of the best pizza ever.

On 30, Sep 2011 | One Comment | In Uncategorized | By lela

homemade pizza crust (which I tried for the first time tonight and loooove)

plus

homemade canned tomatos from the garden, made into a sauce,

plus

homemade tomato slices from the garden

equals

one delish (surprisingly easy) pizza.

afternote: kyle just said this is some of the best pizza he’s ever had. score.

Vegas, baby.

On 23, Sep 2011 | No Comments | In Uncategorized | By lela

this weekend, that is.

we’re headed down to Sin City to meet up with Kourtney, Kyle’s sister, and her husband Jake. woooooooooo! we’re in the need of a serious break. Kyle and I are both working full-time, and have so many other (church, freelance, studio) projects going on that we’re barely walking in the door at 10 p.m. much too regularly.

so this weekend,

it’s delish Vegas buffets, a show or two and some bingo in Mesquite :)

anywhere in Vegas we shouldn’t miss out on? Let me know!
