Here’s the long (and short) of it:

My first job was at a bridal store when I was an almost-16-year-old kid (more like baby, really).

I spent two years in high school, and the summer after, learning how the bridal dress industry works. When you sell a woman a wedding gown, you sell them the idea of their perfect wedding. How the day will go, how it will feel, what the theme will be, and most importantly, how they will look.
